Declaring into the Year!!!

Lord, You are ALREADY ahead of us! You have already gone before us and You are ALREADY far into this year. You have already declared how the year is going to go, so we partner with Your Word and with Your declaration over 2019 and the years to come!

We declare not only that this is the day that the Lord has made and we rejoice in it, but this is the year that the Lord has made and we commit to rejoice in it. We are rooted and grounded in the love of God and the eyes of our understanding are opened to truly see Him. We have a sound mind, we are stable in our emotions, and we abide in Him. Every area in us that is not surrendered to the Lord, submits and surrenders to Him, NOW, so that we hear His voice clearly and we are continually filled with His plans, His intentions, and His promises for our lives. We see the goodness of the Lord and we are surrounded with His favor like a shield. We are surrounded about with an army of angels that protect, guard, and defend us. No harm comes to us or to our families.

Our marriages are rejuvenated, refreshed, whole and bear good fruit. Our husbands seek God continually and stand strong as the spiritual leaders of our homes. We, who are wives, surrender to God and submit to our anointing as helpers, nurturers, and spiritual deliverers of our husband’s dreams, purposes, and Godly plans. We, who are single, experience the depths of God’s love and intimacy while we are in waiting. As singles, desiring marriage, our husbands hearts are knit to our hearts, even NOW, and they hear the voice of God to be drawn to find us…as wives.  As singles, content in singleness, we experience peace that passes all understanding in our relationship solely with HIM!

All of our children are taught of the Lord and GREAT will be their peace. Our families that are broken and lost will be repaired, rescued, and saved. Our broken hearts will be mended and our souls will be filled with joy. We are blessed with trusting relationships and partnerships that help us advance the Kingdom of God! We have spiritual and natural seeds to plant into this year, because He gives seeds to the sower. We will see good ground that we are to spiritually plant and naturally plant into this year, and these seeds will spring up and bear good fruit. We will experience increase spiritually that will manifest naturally. We will walk continually in the plans and intentions of God. We will experience new encounters with God and depths of intimacy with Him that we have never known. His reach in us will expand our reach to others. 2019 is a year that is ALREADY set and ALREADY blessed by God. We expect it, we receive it, we declare it, and we establish it in Jesus Name!

Happy New Year!

The Pursuit

AE8F3AFC-5F60-4133-83BD-D0529EFDA25C

Don’t you know I will go to the ends of this world for you…even when you don’t want to be found. I still whisper my rhythm to you, even when you put earbuds in your ears to stop my sound.

I pursue after you when you go from relationship to relationship, trying to get that “feel”.  I move mountains that are impossible, just so I can get to you, your brokenness to heal!

Mine is one that you cannot compare…try it and prove me wrong…only if you dare.

Trust me! My reach is so wide, so long, so high, and so deep…so much you can’t deny.  I made it so you can never escape my pursuit, no matter how hard you try.

My pursuit is never ending…long after you leave this earth. This dance of mine with you lasts for eternity…forever and ever I’ll prove your worth!

You can believe in me, trust in me, hope in me…forget me NOT.
I’m yours. Do you hear me? YOURS!
Without end….
Signed forever and always,
The Love of God

And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” (‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭18-19‬ NLT)

I have a simple question to ask you…

Can God trust you?

Can He trust you with His heart…to accept His perfect love in full, as He gives you all He is! Can He trust you with His promises…to be your navigator, your sidekick, your best friend, and your partner to travel this eternal life journey! Can He trust you with His secret whispers…to listen to Him, to hear Him, to yield to Him, to cherish Him! Can He trust you with His intimacy…to be transparently open with Him, unfiltered, uncovered, and excitedly awaiting His deposits! Can He trust you with His seeds…to incubate them, nurture them, grow them, and spread them without end, with zeal and passion! Can He trust you with His protection…to protect you, defend you, and fight for you when life comes to knock you down! Can He trust you with His provisions…to give you inheritances that you have never imagined! Can He trust you with His fire…to do in this earth what He does in heaven…to be the power couple that this world could never duplicate…even if they tried! Can He trust you with His very being…to give you all that He is, so that you become all that you are!

Can God trust you?

“….Of all my house, he is the one I trust. The one I talk to face to face.” (Numbers 12:7 NLT)

Ecclesiastes 3:1 says “There is a time for EVERYTHING, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”

Since the beginning of creation, God has determined there would be times and seasons. Just as our natural selves can recognize a season change from summer to autumn, so our spiritual selves must be able to recognize and  understand the change of seasons and times in the spiritual  realm. It is God’s heart desire that we recognize our spiritual seasons and times, so that we can be in time with Him, be in sync with Him, and move in rhythm and in pace with Him. Our degree of frustration with the station of life that we are currently in is decreased when we have an understanding of our time…His time!

Is it your time to build, is it your time to tear down, is it your time to grow in dependence on God, is it your time to absorb, is it your time to be released, is it your time to hide in His presence, is it your time to address your inner trauma, is it your time to put in order what is out of order, is it your time of unremarkable blessing, is your time to let go of what is familiar, is it your time to embrace the new that’s next? Ask God to reveal the specific time that you are currently in. Recognizing your time will help you move through this season with peace, focus, strength, faith, strategy, and determination. What time are you in? May your inner barometer sense your time!!!

Now here’s a question for you: How do you currently see God? Does the way you see God affect how you currently live? Does it change the way you currently see the world? The way you see God changes everything. It changes your self image, your image of others, your worldview, your everything. How do you see your God? Today, I see Him as my Heart Re-Shaper. He is re-shaping my heart to transform into His heart…so that I love what He loves and my heart breaks for what His heart breaks for. In this reshaping, I’ve had to let go of my perspectives, my agenda, my plans…in exchange for His perspective, His agenda, and His plan. This sounds good…but letting go of ME is not easy. Truth be told…the struggle is real. But it is this daily question that God uses to relentlessly reshape my heart. How do you see God? This week, spend time to reflect…the way you see God changes everything!!!

“Then Jesus and his disciples walked together. On the way, he posed this question to his disciples: “Who do the people say that I am?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptizer, others say Elijah the prophet, and still others say you must be one of the prophets.” He asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” (Mark‬ ‭8‬:‭27-29‬ TPT)

There are going to be times in our lives when we must face closed doors. What do we do? My friend, Bernai, recently shared her struggle of facing one closed door after another closed door and my heart broke for her. But while my heart was breaking, she told me that when we face a closed door, we have 2 options: we either get a key to unlock the door or we just go through another door. I don’t know what closed door you are currently facing, but I do know that God promised to open doors that no one can shut; He promised to make a way where there is no way; He promised to provide ALL our needs; He promised to keep us through every storm. He does NOT lie!!! He has given us keys in His promises and His promises are sure nuff proven!!! Will you be encouraged to trust Him?

“God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?” (Numbers‬ ‭23‬:‭19‬ NLT)

The Demand

img_2278

Authored by my sister

Your anointing DEMANDS this routine.
It DEMANDS a life style change:
Daily communication.
Sitting at His feet.
Waiting for His “text“.
Looking for answers…Constant questions.
Eagerly awaiting…..Desire for another meeting.
Visitation.
With a ROAR in my ear:

DEMAND your life to change so that others will change. You will begin to see even more transformations around you….the more YOU change. Transform…. Pray without ceasing… In all your ways acknowlege me and I will direct your path….
Your anointing DEMANDS this routine. It DEMANDS a life style change.

Reflection:

As I ponder the poetic words written by my sister, this thought is immediately illuminated in my spirit: God is ALWAYS speaking to those who are ready and prepared to listen. In His wisdom, God lays out a blue print that allows us to perceive when He is speaking and understand what He is saying. This poetic word speaks that knowing and doing God’s will requires time spent learning to hear and recognize His voice. So I am inclined to ask just what is His blue print for me and how do I recognize His voice? God is showing me that it is my daily communication with Him, my pausing to sit daily at His feet as He responds to my communication, my eager await of His “text”, His download, His visitation that is the blueprint which trains my ear to perceive and understand His voice. The anointing that He has poured upon me demands this blue print; it demands THIS routine. As I commit to His blueprint, to His daily meeting routine, I will hear Him more, perceive Him more, and truly understand Him more.

These poetic words are given to speak God’s word uniquely in YOU! Pause and think….What do these poetic words speak in you? What is the Lord saying to you and requiring of you? After all, God is ALWAYS speaking to those who are ready and prepared to listen.

Is He really more than enough?

“If your first concern is to look after yourself, you’ll never find yourself. But if you forget about yourself and look to me, you’ll find both yourself and me” (Matthew 10:39-MSG)

The kinds of things we pray for reveal what our true priorities are. Are we always asking God to fix a problem?  Are we spending all of our time naming and claiming things? Are we shouting over the blessing?

As I think about my prayer requests over the last year, I find my prayers focus more on things, more on a list of my demands: I want you to fix this! I want you to make a way! I want you to bless me! I want you to change them! I want, I want, I WANT!

However, God’s top priority for us in prayer is about drawing us closer to Him and Him drawing closer to us; deepening our bond with Him; moving our focus from “things” to the “GIVER” of the things; strengthening our relationship with Him, until HE becomes more than enough!!! Pause right there…think for a second….Until HE becomes more than enough!

When God becomes our focus in prayer, He brings the essence of who He is with Him. Provision comes with Him. Healing comes with Him. Promise comes with Him. All that we could ever need comes with HIM. The God of more than enough truly becomes more than enough!

The truth of the matter is, God wants our desire to be solely for HIM, and not THINGS! Can God really be more than enough? God wants our total attention and our total focus. Can God really be more than enough? God wants us and us alone. Pause and think….Can God really be more than enough?

Reflection:

  1. How close to God do you really want to be?
  2. What do you think that would look like?
  3. Now pray with that focus in mind.
